First Visit Expectations

Below is an overview of what you and your child can expect during your first visit to All Star Pediatric Dentistry.

Let’s get to know each other.

Your child’s first visit is not only about our team getting to know them, but also about them getting to know our team. In the time we spend together, we encourage your child (and you) to ask questions, express your concerns, and share with us anything they want us to know to help make their care as individual as they are.

We will take a brief medical history and ask for a list of any medications including vitamins and supplements they may be taking.  

If necessary, we will take x-rays and then perform a complete oral exam of their teeth, mouth, cheeks, lips, and jaw.

They’re in great hands.

Once their cleaning is complete, Dr. Phan or Dr. Chang will talk with you and your child about their findings. If any treatment is required, we can develop a healthy, effective treatment plan that best meets your dental and personal requirements. We can prioritize and stagger treatments to give your child a smile they deserve in a timeframe you can afford.

Finally, we want you to know we will go above and beyond to make your child feel relaxed and safe. Not only is their physical comfort important to us, but their emotional comfort is as well.
